Many people dream of living and working in the United States but soon realize that obtaining a non-immigrant visa or permanent residence green card can be one of the most difficult procedures they will ever face when trying to Emigrate.
Obtaining a non-immigrant visa is the first step in the process of emigrating to the US. The filing of a visa and immigration related paperwork is a complex bureaucratic process that requires more than just completing and mailing forms. You need to establish at an early stage if you qualify for a non-immigrant visa such as an E-2 Treaty Investor, L-1 Intracompany Transferee, EB-5 Investor Green Card or a permanent resident Green Card.
Many considerations have to be taken in to account. Are you a citizen from a country that has a treaty of navigation and commerce with the United States that may entitle you to apply for an E-2 Treaty Investor Visa? Do you work for a company in a managerial position that has a subsidiary in the United States, or will set up a subsidiary office in the United States? You may qualify for an L-1 Intracompany Transferee Visa. Are you an investor who is prepared to invest $500,000 in to a Regional Service Center? If so, then you may qualify for an EB-5 Investor Green Card through your investment.
