A challenge was exactly what Yorkshireman Brian Littlewood liked; and with the full support of his wife Angie and two children, they have turned a challenge into a huge success!!! Back in 2000 they were looking for U.S. immigration information on websites of companies who might be able to help them bring their dream alive, to live and work in their employer's U.S. Subsidiary, a property management company in Florida. They found New Horizons Group’s website which offered them a consultation at their London Offices. Following a successful and informative meeting, Angie and Brian decided to seize the moment and take the opportunity to sign up with New Horizons Group. They say that being able to meet face to face with someone who had knowledge, experience and an excellent track record in helping people come to the U.S., was their deciding factor.
They arrived in the U.S. in November 2001, and now in 2006 have been guided by New Horizons Group to achieve their Green Cards. Angie says there were many ups and downs on the way, they missed friends in the U.K., and Sainsbury's most of all! The ups, however, are so numerous says Angie; "We take breakfast out on the pool deck every morning, the kids swim on Christmas Day, most things here are family oriented, we have great American neighbors, and the school and sports facilities for the kids are tremendous." She remarked at how polite society is in the U.S. and how friendly and respectful. She cannot get over being called Ma'am and Brian, Sir!! She says they get a little homesick at times, but an hour in the sun around the pool with a cold beer soon changes that. Angie is certain that wild horses wouldn’t drag them back to the U.K., and is the first to count her many blessings.
Angie explains that New Horizons Group staff helped them through all stages of the visa process, and says that they were there each time either she or Brian had a crisis, a what if, or a panic. Everything they said would happen did happen, she says, and is complementary about New Horizons Group’s staff's patience and helpfulness. She is a walking advert for grit and determination to follow through on dreams and plans; she also recommends New Horizons Group to all her friends if they need any visa information.
