David Cummins’ company manufactures specialist ice cream trucks for sale to the U.K. and international markets. During visits to the U.S., he noticed the very poor quality and design of their ice cream trucks which he believed used inefficient technology. He was certain there was a definite market for his product in the U.S. and decided to relocate to the U.S. to use his manufacturing and management skills to develop a company to design, manufacture and market specialist ice cream trucks.
David identified that obtaining the necessary business visa was a major challenge. David firmly believes that the U.S. offers many opportunities for people to relocate, especially if they are prepared to work hard and be sufficiently flexible to do business in a very different business environment, where entrepreneurship and flair can be well rewarded.
